She loves like the ocean, vast and deep,
A heart so full, yet hard to keep.
Her hands reach out, but turn to stone,
She builds a home, then sleeps alone.
She swears she’s gentle, soft as spring,
Yet every touch leaves shattered things.
She wants to pour out, she dares to try,
But demons still whisper at certain times.
What good is a heart so vast,
If the one within it can barely breathe?
What good is the depth of my waters,
If those who dive only end up drowning?
She longs to love without a scar,
To hold someone, but not too far.
Yet every love she dares to start,
She ends up breaking—both their hearts.
